McNutt, Stephen Thomas, (Stumpy), age 61, of Townsend, formerly of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at UT Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as an insurance agent for Life of Georgia and also the Knoxville Police Department. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Steve was preceded in death by parents, Tom and Dorothy McNutt; and brother, Eddie McNutt. He is survived by his loving wife, Violet McNutt; son, Bradley Hutchison; daughter, Hailie Houser; daughter and son-in-law, Kirsten and Jason Reagan; grandchildren: Natalie, Devin, and Katie; very close friend and family members, Steve and Pam Dyer; numerous cousins, family members, and friends.
