He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda L. (Hatridge) Wiley of De Soto, MO; three daughters, Ramone (Tim) May of Panama City Beach, FL; Anita R. Wiley of Sunrise Beach, MO; and Toni (Kevin) Cooke of De Soto, MO; and one son Robert "Bob" Wiley of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Tim May Russell, LaFloure, Shawna Via, Tara Cooke, and Kelly Cooke.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Timothy Wiley, John Wiley and Jim Wiley; also six sisters: Maxine Ritter, Irene Anderson, Lillian Basto, Elenora Mackley, Georgia Dickey, and Verneal Burt.
Mr. Wiley served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Chrysler Corp. where he worked as Maintenance Superintendent.
Funeral services were conducted on February 4 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, Mo. with Rev. Boytt Willis officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Al Wiley, Glen Wiley, Michael Deaton, Mathew Deaton, Bart Via, and Timothy May II. Burial was in Mount Olive; Cemetery near De Soto, MO. with full Military honors.
