Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Christopher, 75, of Merrick, L. I, a former resident, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient one week.
Mrs. Christopher was born at Springfield, W. Va., a daughter of the late Frederick and Susan (Blue) Koerner. Her husband, Joseph C. Christopher, died in 1947. She was a member of Freeport (L. I.) Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, W. Richard, Frostburg, and Joseph C. Christopher, this city; a daughter, Mrs. Ross Davis, Merrick, L. I.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Home where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. John F. Sammel, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Elmer Kellough, Raymond Hartsock, Raymond Skidmore, James Skidmore, Robert Davidson and Frank Taylor.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
