Della Grace Harshman Adams, 77, of Lake Lynn, Pa., died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born March 21, 1926, in Mt. Sterling, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph Harshman and Mildred Darrell Harshman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carol Joyce Adams; and two brothers, Joseph Harshman and James L. Harshman.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Jake Adams; four children, Elaine Brooks and husband, Dwight of Lake Lynn, Pa., Loretta Maestle and Larry Adams, both at home and Tammy Renee Wade and husband, Ray of Smithfield, Pa.; four grandchildren, Shawn Maestle, Donna Brooks, Natalie Soppitt and Billy (Ray) Wade; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eva Ellen Pishko and husband, Zeke of Fairchance, Pa., and Dolores Mallory and husband, John of Nemacolin, Pa.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, April 19, 2003 until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Scott Teets officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
