Peter Ean died at his home on Huguenot Street, Monday evening, May 12, after a long illness. Born eighty-four years ago on the family farm at Bontecoe, New Paltz, he spent his youth there. Later he lived and worked at Scranton, Pa., returning to New Paltz some 22 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, the former Emma Baumeister of Scranton. He was a member of the New Paltz Methodist Church. funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Pine funeral home by the Rev. Elmer Bostock, assisted by Rev. John Follette. Burial was in the New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
