Born Nov. 20, 1933, in Pendleton County, she was the daughter of the late Glen E. and Artie M. (Nelson) Alt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Obed R. "Gabe" Kimble in 1990
She is survived by one son, Kenton R. Kimble of Ranson; two daughters, Karen Kimble and Christine Johnson, both of Graham; two sisters, Caretta Straigther of Kent, Ohio, and Florence Dearth of Parkersburg; two brothers, Harold Alt of Blythesville, Ark., and Gene Alt of Petersburg; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Feb. 15, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, with interment in the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville
