NORTH MANCHESTER - Virginia Null Knight, 76, Peabody Retirement Community, died Saturday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Knight was born in Byron, Minn., and moved to Marion in 1945. She moved to North Manchester in 1992. She retired in 1981 as a bookkeeper at Marion General Hospital. She was a graduate of Byron High School, Byron, Minn., and Indiana Business College, Marion. She was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 10, Marion. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and the YWCA, both in Marion. She married Ted Null, who died in 1977, and Robert "Bob" Knight, who died in 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen (Edwin) Church, Muncie; a brother, Robert A. (Margaret) Briggs, Woodberry, Minn.; and a sister, Mary E. (T.W. "Bill") Barley, Marion.
Services were held Tuesday in Needham-Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with Rev. Steven Loft officiating.
