Lorene (Phillips) Caldwell passed away on May 20, 2011, in Longview, Texas.
Lorene was born August 27, 1920 in Trees, Louisiana to the late States J. and Arnettie Rushing Phillips.
She graduated from Kilgore High School in 1937 and was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Kilgore. Lorene enjoyed Crocheting and crossword puzzles. She loved to work in her flower garden and was a loving mother and grandmother who will be truly missed by all her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Caldwell, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Caldwell and two brothers, James Phillips and Lester Phillips.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Caldwell of Dallas and David Caldwell and wife Angie of Overton, Texas; grandson, Daniel Caldwell of Randolph, Texas; sisters, Pauline Leonhart of Houston, Texas and Peggy Wilson of Magnolia, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and caregivers, Mary Maxwell and Julia Kinney.
