Leslie "Les" Hubert Hudson, 62, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at West Freeway Church of Christ, 8000 Western Hills Blvd., White Settlement, 76108. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Les was born Feb. 26, 1949, in Weatherford to Hubert J. Hudson and Geloria Prather Hudson. He worked at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for 21 years before becoming disabled 13 years ago. He worked in the meat market at Winn-Dixie, formerly known as Buddies, and in the meat market at Strick's. Les was a wonderful husband, loving father and caring grandfather. He would always put others first. He loved sports and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. Hook'em Grandpa Longhorn.
Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Carol Hudson; children, Stephen "Steve," Zachary "Zac" Hudson and wife, Micha; grandchildren, Samantha, Tony, Logan, Hunter and Jude; and an extensive extended family.
