Alice was deaf most of her adult life. She moved to Binghamton, New York, to live with daughter, Dorothy and her family in their apartment on 140 Conklin Avenue on October 25, 1953. She fell out of bed and broke her hip on June 2, 1955, and came home from the hospital on June 19th. Alice was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She moved to Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, on August 24, 1958, to live with son, Raymond.∼
