After an illness of about six months, Mrs. H.J. Wright died at her home three miles south of Mt. Vernon yesterday afternoon. She was stricken with paralysis in March and had been in practically a helpless condition since being unconscious for a great part of the time.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband and one son, Mr. C.H. Wright of this place, and three sisters, Mrs. H.A. Simpson of this place, Mrs. H.H. McAllister of Long Pond, and Mrs. J.A. Powell of Savannah. Her brothers are Messrs, George L., of Atlanta; J.L. of Decatur; J.C., of Savannah; C.M. of Florida, and Sam Adams of Alabama. She was a daughter of the late G.W. Adams.

Mrs. Wright was a woman of loveable traits and before ill health overtook her was very active in the conduct of the affairs of the home. She was a devoted member of the Methodist church, and active in its support.

The funeral service was held at the residence and the burial in the Mt. Vernon cemetery this afternoon.
