Frank E. McArthur, a former resident of New Era, was instantly killed in an accident at Bellingham, Wash., last Thursday, according to word received by his sisters, Mrs. Alice Pitts of Canby and Mrs. Isabel Newman of New Era. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David McArthur of New Era.
Relatives from this community went to Bellingham Friday to attend the funeral.
Mr. McArthur was born at New Era and lived in that community until twenty years ago. He had been employed by a railroad company at Bellingham.
