DEATH OF CIVIL WAR VETERAN

Dover, Jan 6 --- Charles Polk Bailey, grandson of former Governor Polk of Delaware, died on Sunday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Alexander Boyer, on Loockerman Street near the depot. he was 65 years of age and had been an invalid for several years past.

Mr. Polk was a Civil War Veteran and a member of the Masonic Order. His remains were taken to Kenton today and interment made in Bryn Zion Cemetery near that town.
