Gary Lee Coursey, the son of Anny Magda Stohr Coursey Wilson and the late Robert Lee (Bob) Coursey, was born July 15, 1961 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He entered into eternal rest October 7, 2011 at the age of fifty years.
He graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1979 and on Febuary 9, 1980 was married at West Plains, Missouri to Karen Simpson. Gary was a truck driver and enjoyed working on his truck. He also loved to hunt, fish and play golf. Gary was of the Catholic faith. He made a legacy of his own.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Coursey, of the family home; two sons, Jeff Coursey and wife, Misty, and Justin Coursey and wife, Jennifer, both of West Plains, Missouri; three grandsons, Dagen, Lathen and Wyatt; his mother, Anny Wilson, and husband, Al, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Bobby Coursey, and wife, Bonnie, Koshkonong, Missouri; two uncles, Jim Coursey and wife, Linda, Springfield, Missouri; Hollis Crowe, Cherekee Village, Arkansas.
His Father, Robert Lee (Bob) Coursey, and one brother, Jesse Lee Coursey, precede him in death.
