Francis Brewer
FORSYTH --- Francis Brewer, 80, died Tuesday, May 24, 1993, at his home in Forsyth.
Frances was born Nov. 18. 1912, in Inman, Nebraska, the son of Elmer and Pearl Barret Brewer.
He came to Rosebud County with his family and grandparents in 1914, settling in the Slaughterhouse area. He attended schools in Carterville, Rosebud and Forsyth and worked on the family ranch.
On Feb. 11.1934, he married Adrienne Groombridge in Forsyth.
They lived a brief time in Alzada, Great Falls, and Fort Peck working construction, returning to the Forsyth area in 1942.
Francis began his farming operation in 1946, living in the same place since.
Francis was a member of the Federated Church of Forsyth and served on the ASCS Board.
He is survived by his wife, Adrienne, of Forsyth; one son, Kevin Brewer of Forsyth; one daughter Sharon Martens of Forsyth; 10 grandchildren, Mike Brewer, Steve Brewer, Jason Brewer, Doug Martens, Tammy Sorenson, Scott Martens, Aaron Essex, JT Essex, Zamian Essex and Amber Essex; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Essex, in 1991.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28. 1993, at the Beals Mortuary Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Forsyth Cemetery.
Beals Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
