Their suggestion:
-------------------------
There is a serious fraud involving the Dalton family and it has crept into your memorial. Please see:

http://mykindred.com/dalton/hoax/

Simon Dalton did not have a sister named Elizabeth. All fifteen children are well documented. Few people mention Lelia who was born about 1858 and died as a baby. If she is not listed, there will be fourteen children.

http://mykindred.com/dalton/hoax/EmmettsList.php

No one named Bea Elizabeth Dalton or Beatrice Elizabeth Dalton or Bea Elizabeth "Lelia" Dalton ever existed. That is the fraud and it is pernicious.

The person who committed the fraud had the gravestones for his grandparents -- Tom & Elizabeth Phillips -- replaced with stones indicating that Elizabeth was the daughter of James Lewis Dalton and Adeline Lee Younger. He also had the stones for Adeline, Emmett and Leona Dalton replaced with ones saying his grandmother, Bea Elizabeth Phillips, was the daughter or sister.

Neither Simon Dalton or Leona Dalton had grave stones, their graves were unmarked in the Dalton section of Kingfisher Cemetery. The man who altered the other stones had the stones for Leona and Simon installed. The flat for Simon Dalton contains no erroneous information, but he did not have a sister named Bea or Elizabeth or Phillips.

sincerely,
Tom Cloud
