Muscatine Journal, Saturday, May 19, 1979, page 9 Lynn Everett Honts, 50, 521 Monroe St. died at 9:53 P.M. Friday at Muscatine General Hospital after a short illness. The body is now at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home, where friends may call beginning at 3 P.M. Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Honts was a life resident of Muscatine, born here November 1, 1928, the son of Elmer C. and Gladys Thomas Honts. He had been employed at the H.J. Heinz company for 35 years.
He was married August 20, 1948 in Muscatine, to Loretta Yeater.
He was a member of AFL CIO Local 431.
Survivors include the widow Mrs. Loretta Honts; two sons Dennis Lynn Honts of Hull, IL., and Specialist 5th class David Allen Honts, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey; two daughters Mrs. Dan (Barbara) Anson, Muscatine and Mrs. Gary (Linda) Cozine, Cranston, Rhode Island; and 12 grandchildren. He is alos survived by his mother, Mrs. Gladys Honts, Muscatine, five brothers, Richard, Donald, Robert, Thomas and Frank Honts all of Muscatine; three sisters, Mrs. Earl (Caroly) Morgan, Mrs. William (Donna) Grace, and Phylis Honts all of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his father.
