Muscatine- Loretta K. Honts, 65, of 521 Monroe street, died Friday evening January 12, 1996 at Muscatine General Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home. The Rev. Daniel Schoepf of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Timothy Cozine, Ben Honts, Killian West, Frank Newton, Jr., Erik Newton, Michael McLaughlin, Bill Foor , and Larry Foor. Burial will be at the Muscatine Memorial Park Ceemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Honts was born April 25, 1930 in Muscatine, a daughter of Roy A and Callie Thompson Yeater.
she married Lynn Everett Honts on August 20, 1948 in Muscatine.
she was a member of the Women of the Moose, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Lincoln Boulevard Senior Citizens Meal site.
She worked at Happy Joe's for 13 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda E. Cozine of Cranston, Rhode Island, IL, and Barbara M. Anson of Muscatine, two sons, Dennis L. Honts of Hannibal, Mo. and David L. Honts of Muscatine; two sisters Alberta Lenseth of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Virginia Newton of Muscatine; two brothers John W. Yeater of Muscatine, and Roy J. Yeter of New Hope, Minn., 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1979, one brother, and one sister and one grandson.
