Muscatine Journal, Monday August 10, 1987 Lena V. Honts, 69, 614 East 10th Street, died Friday night at Muscatine General Hospital. Services are Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. The Rev. William Means will officiate. Herbert Grebing will be organist. Pallbearers are Earl Deahr, Everett Holtz, Bob Honts, Jerry Honts, John Orr and Doug White. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 3 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Honts was born February 27, 1918 in Muscatine County, a daughter of Thomas and Sylvia Aubrey Yedlik. On September 30, 1940 she was united in marriage to Daniel J. Honts at Davenport. She worked with her husband operating Danny's Sales and Service for many years. survivors include her husband; two daughters, Janet Richardson, Muscatine and Violet Stomer, Bettendorf; Seven grandchildren; one brother Carl Yedlik, Lone Tree; four sisters, Alice Lord, Nichois, Margaret Howe, West Liberty; Lilly Deahr and dorothy Orr both of Muscatine.
she was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
