Raymond Beh, 71, died Friday at
Muscatine General hospital following
an illness of nine months.
Mr. Beh was born Dec. 4, 1905, at
Davenport, the son of Alvina Wiese
and Frank Xavier Beh who resided in
rural Muscatine most of their
married lives as farmers.
Mr. Beh married Rosie Katherine
Burhop, Oct. 16, 1933, at Rock
Island, Ill. They were parents of
one daughter and one son.
Mr. Beh farmed in the rural Muscatine
area and also was a truck driver for
McKee Feed and Grain, Central Soya
Company and Muscatine Seed and Supply
for many years. He retired from the
farm in rural Atalissa in 1973, and
Mr. and Mrs. Beh moved to 1604 Foster,
Muscatine.
Mr. Beh is survived by his wife; one
son, Ronald Lee, 1604 Foster; one
daughter, Mrs. Beverly (Robert) Lueth,
Rt. 4, Box 38, Muscatine; one grandson;
two step-granddaughters and three step-
grandsons; three brothers, Alvin and
Wilbur Beh, both of Davenport and
Frank Beh of Muscatine; one sister,
Mrs. Alice (Louis) Boldt of Davenport.
Funeral services will be conducted by
Ralph Wittich funeral home with
visitation Sunday at 2 p.m. and
services Monday at 1:30 p.m. with
burial in Memorial Park cemetery, with
Rev. Carl Benander of Grace Lutheran
of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
