Retha LaDelle Langford, 76 of Holly Springs, MS died Friday October 7, 2011 at her sister's home in Harriet, AR. Born September 8, 1935 in Elkhart, KS to Glenn and Ellen Taylor She was preceeded in death by one son Ray Thompson Jr; husband, C.W. Langford; her parents; and a brother, Donald Taylor.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenetta Ausburn of Holly Springs, MS and son Rick Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK; a granddaughter, Christy James of Holly Springs, MS; two sisters Norma Smart and Bonnie Landis both of Harriet, AR and two great grandchildren, Samantha Rosson and Chase Rosson.
Retha was an active member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church and played the organ for their services.
Funeral services will be held 11 am October 11, 2011 at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR. Visitation will be at 10 am prior to services. Retha's pastor Brother Wesley Newby will officiate and burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
