BROWNWOOD - Fred C. Firth, 76, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000 at a Brownwood hospital.
Services are 3 p.m. Monday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating, burial in Jenkins Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Firth was born in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Doris Goates in Brownwood in 1945 and was retired from 3M. He was a member of Brownwood First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge for 25 years.
Survivors include three sons, Craig Pleasanton of California, Fred Firth, Jr., Chris Firth, both of Brownwood; six grandchildren; one niece.
