"Mrs. Anna M. Mergell, widow of Gottfried Mergell, and (sic) old resident of New Albany, died yesterday at her home at 710 East Eighth street, in that city. Her death was due to a complication of diseases after a long illness.
Mrs. Mergell was 67 years of age and was a native of Germany, though she came with her parents to America in childhood and had lived nearly all of her life in New Albany. Her surviving children are George Mergell and Misses Elizabeth, Emma, Kate and Frances Mergell, all of whom live in New Albany. She is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, Joseph Krementz (sic) and Mrs. Elizabeth Unclebach, of New Albany; Mrs. Lena Todd, of Detroit, and George, Thomas and Frank Krementz, of Newark, N. J.
The funeral will take place at the family residence to-morrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and the burial will be in Fairview cemetery."
