Born in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late William and Jessie (Russell) Skerry. She was a dedicated school teacher in the Lunenburg County area for many years prior to her retirement. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia; three brothers, John, Russell, William; a grandson. Visitation will be 3-5, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, New Ross, where prayers will be 4 p.m. today. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m.Thursday in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Brian Duggan officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
