Adam Sebastion Dittmeier, 85, of 1027 Dresden, died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Christopher Nursing Home, 4300 Hazelwood.

He was a former foreman for the Reynolds Metals Company. He came to Louisville from Germany when he was six months old.

Survivors include his widow, the former Philomena Nadorff; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Scalise, of Greenville, S. C., Mrs. Alice Gottbralh, Mrs. Marcella Hart, and Mrs. Phyllis Lippy; six sons, Henry J., Adam J., Joseph E., Charles C, Anthony T., and Raymond G. Dittmeier; 38 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. The body is at Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd.
