Jean G. Deatherage, 76, of Girard died Monday, June 30, 2003, at St. John's Hospital. She was born April 7, 1927, in Aberdeen, Scotland, the daughter of James and Christina Dow Dunn. She married Mason A. Deatherage in 1947 in Girard; he died in 1997. Mrs. Deatherage was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Church in Girard. Survivors: a son, Stuart Deatherage of St. Louis; a daughter, Maureen (husband, Alan) Little of Woodson; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Jim (wife, Marg) and William Dunn, both of Scarborough, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home, Girard, the Rev. Kenneth Lovely officiating. Burial: Waverly East Cemetery.
