Albert A. Anker, 93, retired farmer, died this morning in the home of a son, Albert, Jr., one mile east of Wolcott, with whom he had lived 16 years. Born in Berne, Switzerland, he came to the United States at the age of 16. He farmed in the Wolcott community for 50 years. His wife, formerly Bertha Detwiler, whom he married in Illinois, died in 1922. Survivors are two sons and seven daughters, Mrs. Ida Hoshaw, Mrs. Mary Altman, Albert, Jr., and Jacob, all of Wolcott, Mrs. Bertha Garbison, Hanna, Mrs. Lizzie Wenger, Francesville, Mrs. Lucy Eisert, Chalmers, Mrs. Emma Hazelgrove, Rensselaer, and Mrs. Matilda Kocher, Plainfield.
