Mr. Lovett - Died Thursday
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Truman (Boots) Lovett, 67, Columbia, S.C. died Thursday, Nov. 1, 1979 in Columbia, S.C. He was born in Alabama.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Desmer Berry officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Nichols Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by two sons, Bill Lovett and Tom Lovett, both of Georgia; three daughters, Mrs. Toby Walker of South Carolina, Mrs. Nancie Whitfield and Mrs. Rebecca Gronenthal, both of Georgia; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Spurgeon Lovett, Gadsden, Ala. and Plumer Lovett of Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Nov. 4 in Haleyville, Ala., with burial in Liberty Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Lovett was born in Haleyville, Ala., and was retired from Lockheed Georgia Co. where he was a chemical engineer. He was a member of East Columbia Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Toby Walker, Eastover *[SC], Becky Gronenthal, Nancy Whitfield, Marietta, *[GA]; two sons, Bill and Thomas Lovett, Marietta, *[GA]; two brothers.
The family requests that contributions be made to the Heart Fund.

NOTE: Daddy was living with his daughter, Toby Walker in SC when he passed away. We had a two funeral services for him; one in SC and one in Haleyville, AL where he was buried in Liberty Grove Bap Ch Cemetery where a lot of his Lovett family members are buried.
