BELD, PAMELA K. YATES, 57, went to her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Norton Pavilion Hosparus unit. She was a retired employee of the old Commonwealth Life Insurance Co. and a member of South Jefferson Christian Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 years, Ronald E. Beld; a daughter, Toni McDowell (Marcus); a son, Chris Beld (Deanna); a sister, Phyllis Howton (Mike); sisters-in-law, Linda Beld, Alice Drake, Carolyn Priddy, and Mary Beld; brother-in-law, Steve Beld; a granddaughter, Resa McDowell; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Mohammad Khan and his staff for the care they provided. Her funeral service will be held noon Wednesday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, Valley Station, followed by burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. -8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
