Funeral service for Sadie Mae Mitchell of Kellyville, Okla., formerly of Wagoner, was held Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at the South Heights Assembly Of God Church in Sapulpa.
Interment followed in Rudy, Ark., at the Mt. McCurry Cemetery with the Revs. Ron Gibson and Sam Bates officiating.
She married George Mitchell and he preceded her in death in May of 1996. She also was preceded in death by her mother and father, six brothers, three sisters and one stepdaughter, Sheila K. Nigh.
Sadie was such a loving lady, inside and out. She had resided in the Wagoner community for 20 years. After her husband George's death, she moved to Sapulpa to be near her daughter Sue.
While living in Sapulpa, she met and married James Fulks. They were married in Sapulpa on Aug. 17, 2010, and made their home in Kellyville. Sadie and James were there for each other, being friends and companions. She loved him very much and valued their time they had together.
Sadie is a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and she also attended South Heights Assembly Of God Church both in Sapulpa. She loved the Lord and would let it be known. Sadie was a very hard worker, she taught and shared with her children the values of life. She loved her girls equally, with all her heart and soul, as she would always say. Her family will deeply miss her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her loving husband James Fulks of Kellyville; three daughters, Sue Wahl and her husband Randall of Kellyville, Joyce Erlemeier and her husband Roger of Mapleton, Iowa, and Clara Carnett of Tulsa; three stepsons, Jimmy Fulks and wife Kathy, Ronald Fulks and wife Jamie and Randall Fulks and wife Amy, all of Kellyville; four brothers, Lonnie Lamproe of Rudy, Floyd Lamproe of Van Buren, Leonard Lamproe of Washington and Ed Lamproe of California; two sisters, Dorothy Slusher of Van Buren and Susie Harris of Chester; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
