Father of ten buried Tuesday, John O'Ceskey, was born near Morrison, Mo., 81 years ago and grew to manhood in this community. He died Saturday morning at Concord Hill, Mo. More than 50 years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Lena Lange at Fredericksbug, Mo. and to them was born 10 children. His wife preceeded him in death two years ago and two of the children died in infancy. The following sons and daughters survive: Mrs. Rose Birk, Pleasant Hill, Mo.; Fred O'Cheskey, Whichita, Kansas; August O'Cheskey, Morrison; Mrs. Margaret McGuire, Washington, Mo.; Steve O'Cheskey, Linn; Al O'Cheskey and Mrs. Gertrude Turner of Linn and Mrs. E. Evelyn Bueke with whom he was making his home at the time of his passing at Concord, Mo. There are 6 grand children and two great grand children. Mr. O'Cheskey was the last member of his family. He was a devout life long member of the Bailey's Creek Catholic Church and a highley respected citizen of his community. Funeral service were held Tuesday morning from the Morton Funeral home to the Bailey's Creek Catholic Church at 9:00 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. Popsel officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery, beside his wife and other members of his family.
