Elizabeth May Oscarson McClure, age 74, of Pleasant Grove died Jan. 12, 1993 at her home.
She was born November 1, 1917 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Gustaf Emil and Louisa Wilhelmina Okerlind Oscarson. She married Kenneth Eugene McClure January 14, 1941 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died January 21, 1979.
She was a member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 3rd Ward. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove graduating from Pleasant Grove High school. She lived in Soldier Summit from the time of her marriage until 1951 when she moved to Pleasant Grove and has resided there since.
She loved sewing, cooking, ceramics, hunting and socializing with her many friends.
She is survived by five sons and a daughter, Kenneth Eugene McClure, Roy; James E. McClure, Valparaiso, Indiana; Suzette M. Henrichsen, Layton; Marvin D. McClure, Pleasant Grove; Leland J. McClure and Scott Richard McClure, both of Orem; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Roy W. Oscarson, St. Louis, Mo.; Robert A. Oscarson, Florence O. Gillman and Dora O. Hales all of Pleasant Grove.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove 3rd Ward, 800 No. 100 West, friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 So. 300 East, Pleasant Grove or Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
