Jason Neil Merritt, 40, of Greenville, died Thursday, January 21, 2010.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of Imogene McDonald Merritt of Greenville.
He was a member of Carpenters Tabernacle in City View and proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are, three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Merritt was a friend to all who knew him.
The visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The service will be Monday, January 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery.
