Wanda Roach, 76, of Clovis, NM, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2010, at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton with Chris Mullennix officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Wanda was born May 21, 1934, in Hobbs, NM, to Ernest C. and Lorene Deason Bennett. She received her BA degree from Eastern New Mexico University and married Odis Roach June 5, 1954, in Hobbs, NM. Her hobbies include hunting, boating, fishing, four-wheeling, motorcycling, traveling, camping, and outdoor cooking. She taught the Sunday school preschool class at First Baptist Church and Sandia Baptist Church in Clovis.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Odis; one son, Audie (Dori) Roach of Clovis, NM, and two grandchildren, April Kayleen Phipps and Misty Dawn English.
She was preceded by her parents, E. C. and Lorene Bennett; one sister, Helen, and one son, Caylon.
