Garry Jenkins, 50, departed this life Monday, October 3, 2011. Born in DeLand, Florida to the Johnny B. Jenkins and the late Overlee Glover. His family which he leaves behind to mourn: a loving and devoted wife: Shirley; daughter: Shagaria Jenkins; god-daughter: Emani McCullough; father: Johnny B. Jenkins; grandmother: Lillie Mae Jenkins; father-in-law: Raymond Lockhart; brothers & sisters: Earl Chisholm, Daytona Beach, FL; Ernest Ford (Diane), New York; Ernest Byrd, New York, Ruby Simpson (Anthony); uncles: Cordell DELAND - Garry "Greg" Jenkins, 50, died Oct. 3, 2011. Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at J.E. Cusack Mortuary, 727 S. Stone St. in DeLand. Dr. Wendell H. Raulerson, pastor, and Bishop Obadiah Henry will officiate at a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church, 333 S. Clara Ave. in DeLand. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in DeLand, and a repast at the church will follow the interment. Mr. Jenkins was an employee with the City of DeLand. J.E. Cusack Mortuary was in charge.

Visitation will be held Friday (today) from 4pm - 7pm at J. E. Cusack Mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Union Cemetery and repast Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church.
