Pedersen, Hilda (5 FEB 1882 – 13 MAR 1969)
Mrs. Soren (Hilda) Pedersen, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, at o'clock on Thursday morning, March 13, 1969. She had been in failing health the past two years.
The former Hilda Anderson was born in Rockland, Wisconsin on February 5, 1882, and was married to Soren C. Pedersen in August 1907. They resided at Withee until Mr. Pedersen's death in 1947, after which time she made her home with her daughter, Elva, at Owen.
She leaves to mourn, one son, Carl, at Loyal, and two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Caroline) Brossow, Racine, and Miss Elva Pedersen of Owen; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Engelhart and Mrs. Ruth Andress, both of Milwaukee, and one brother, Milton of Withee, and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held at the Hoeper & Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 15. The Rev. Arnold Woodring officiated. Burial was held at the Riverside Cemetery at Withee.
Mrs. Herman Rabska, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lester Hansen, sang "Rock of Ages" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
Pallbearers were Francis J. Conway, Corwin C. Guell, Gayland Misfeldt, George Malz, John Paff, and Jack La Gasse, all of Thorp.
