Cecelia J. Gurick, 99, of Litchfield died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 16, 1903, in Honey Point Township in Macoupin County, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Gretzer Schwab. She married Paul H. Gurick in 1925 in Litchfield; he died in 1995. Mrs. Gurick, a homemaker was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield. Survivors: a son, Lamoine Paul (wife, Marjorie) Gurick of Brentwood, N.Y.; four daughters, Audrey Pence of Litchfield, Patricia Weber of Blythe, Calif., Mary (husband, Howard) Krager of Harvel and Alice (husband, Richard) Polston of Penrose, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; sefveral great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Boehme of Litchfield. Funeral Hass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Holy Family Catholic Church, Litchfield, the Rev. Jim Neuman officiating. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Litchfield. Meinschein Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
