Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at the Hrabak Funeral Home for John Plucar who passed away on Thursday evening at the hospital at Iowa City where he had been for the past two weeks A complication of ailments was the cause of death Mr. Plucar was born in Bohemia on June 29, 1873 and was aged 68 years in Jun e of this year. He was a so n of John and Anna Plucar and was reared in the Lutheran faith. He was brought to this country to the Luzerne community by his parents at the age of three. At the time of his death, he was engaged in farming in LeRoy township where he had lived practically all his life. He was married in 1902 to Anna Netolicky of Amana. They were the parents of the following children: Charles, Joseph and Milo, all at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Tille Gilbert and Mrs. Vessie Myers of Marengo all of whom with the widow survive. He leaves also two sisters, Mrs. Frances Howell of Rutland, Iowa an d Mrs. Mary Hemerson of Bradgate, Iowa and one brother, Joe Plucar, living in Wisconsin. Rev. W. G. Warren of Christ Methodist church of this city had charge of the funeral services H. L. McLennan and Mrs. Naomi HiIIman sang two numbers, "Good Night Here, Good Morning Up There" and "In the Garden." Burial was in the International cemetery near Luzerne.
