Lila Rose Mazuch, 64, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in Omaha, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 10 at 3:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus with Pastor Chris McArdle officiating. Interment will be prior to the service in the Columbus Cemetery. Memorials are those of the family or donor's choice.
Lila was born December 5, 1946, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Joseph and Elsie (Kiuntke) Mazuch. She graduated from Columbus High School and went on to nursing school at the Deaconess School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri. For 40 years, Lila worked in cardiac care at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. For the past five years, Lila has worked for the Heart & Vascular Specialist (Lakeside), Alegent Health in Omaha. She loved her cats, doing flower arranging, spending time with family, and doing crossword puzzels.
