In the 50's and 60's the Ambrose family owned and operated a small zoo called Ambrose Game Farm. It had typical animals, bear, wolf, monkey and tiger with other animals. Also on the property was a large fishing pond which is still there. In the midway there was a small wooden stage where on special occasions famous country music artists would perform. This was a great attraction for local and other visitors of that time.
