Maxwell Reed was a well known actor in Britian during the '50's. He was the first husband of actress, Joan Collins.

He starred in "The Brothers" (1948) and "The Dark Man" (1951). He played the part of Ajax in "Helen of Troy" (1955) and as Miles Hardwicke in "The Notorious Landlady" (1962). He also starred on the weekly TV series "Captain David Grief" (1955) which was filmed in Mexico. Maxwell also had parts in many other movies that spanned through 1966.
