Mr. Lewis Vernon Harris, aqe 74, of 1217 W 36th Independence died at his home Friday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie J. Harris of the home. Three daughters, Mrs. Joseph W. Jones, 5136 S. Spring; Mrs John R. Watt, Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. Hugh Copeland, Waterloo, Iowa. A brother, Floyd Harris, a sister, Mrs. Ila Taylor, both of Dodge City, Kansas. Twelve grandchildren. Funeral services were held 2 o.m. today at the First United Presbyterian Church. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
