Josiah George Calkins died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.A. Dobson, 250 Alta Vista Avenue, at 6:20 a.m. today, following a stroke of paralysis at the same hour yesterday. He had made his home with his daughter here for the past 15 years. Mr. Calkins was born in Germantown, New York, Feb. 2, 1843. Besides the daughter he is survived by one son, H. M. Calkins, Kernville, Cal. The funeral service will be at the home Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview.
