Lodemia Willson
Birth: 18 DEC 1819 in Ohio
•Residence: 1885 : 1 JUL 1885 Eureka, Adair County, Iowa

Lodemia’s own last documented residence was in Section 24 of Eureka Township in 1885 as you may already know.
I would suspect that she was buried in Eureka Cemetery as were other members of her daughter’s (Rebecca Needles) family.
What I don’t know is whether or not she lived long enough to have moved into her Mason in-laws with hubby Joseph.
Once again I appreciate your persistence and offer to look for others. Lodemia has been the main focus of my most wanted list as her issue is fairly well documented. Lodemia was born in Harmony Township, Clark County, OH then came to Quincy, IL
as her father Earl (Willson) Wilson got free Federal land for being in the War of 1812 in the mid 1820's. Earl died about 1827 and her mother married the storied John Droullard in 1828. They then moved to Dubuque County in the early 1830's where Lodemia married Joseph Elwell and had their 4 daughters. As the senior Elwells aged they moved in with the Edward Needles in your area and maybe with Charley Needles.
