Born in Braidwood, but grew up in Wilsonville, IL in a 3 bedroom home on School st. One bedroom to rent out, one for her parents and one for the 8 kids. As soon as she turned 18 she took off for Hollywood, CA with a girl friend the girl friend got sent back but Catherine stayed for the rest of her life. It was the 1930's and Hollywood was in its hay-day. What she had to see. She married Frank Calton and he died early on. They had one son Douglas. She was a grandmother to 3, Frank Lee, Colleen Lee and Gina Marie.
She was lots of fun and I remember staying with her many times. The most fun I had was her and I going to the junk shops as we called them on Hollywood Blvd. They would be called a $1 store today. She would give my a $1 to spend and I remember that just as well as any big gifts.
She never married again but always had a boy friend LOL.
She was close to her family and enjoyed spending time with her best friends, May and Aldo Morilli.
She is missed by all.
By her niece, Donna
