She worked at Duckwalls before becoming a dental assistant for Dr. Floyd Nelson. Helen Later worked as the Clay Center assistant city clerk and then city clerk before marrying Wilfred Abels on Nov. 3, 1948.
Survivors: husband, Wilfred, of Clay Center; and four nieces and nephews. No visitation.
