Owen Leland Hudson, a retired
farmer and rural mail carrier of
Flintville, died Monday at his
residence following a long illness.
He was 77 years old.

Services were this afternoon at
Flintville Baptist Church with Dr.
Billy Chitwood of Huntsville and
the Rev. James Shutt officiating.
burial was in Flintville Cemetery,
with Gallant Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.

A native of Lincoln County, Mr.
Hudson was the son of the late
Edd Oliver and Pearl Wicks Hudson.
He was a member of the Flintville
Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Betty
Gattis Hudson; daughter, Mrs.
Patsy Halcomb of Flintville; two
sons, Teddie Hudson and Tim
Hudson, both of Flintville; three
sisters, Mrs. Ruby Copeland of
Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Letha Roe
of Flintville and Mrs. Ruth Langford
of Winchester; three brothers,
Thomas Earl Hudson and Clyde
Hudson, both of Flintville, and
Hudson of Tullahoma; six grand-
children and one great-grandchild.
