Harry M. Templeton, 80, of 217 West Pike Street, Houston, died in Washington Hospital, Saturday, March 2, 1974 following a lengthy illness. Born February 21, 1894, in Houston, he was a son of W. M. and Sarah Kelso Templeton. he was a retired partner in the W. M. Templeton and Sons Feed Mill, Houston. He was a member of the First Unite Presbyterian church of Houston and member and past president of the Canonsburg-Houston Rotary Club. A veteran of World War I, he was past master and member of Chartiers Lodge No. 297 F & AM; Pittsburgh Consistory; syria Temple; American Legion Post 902 and past president and member of the board of directors of Oak Spring Cemetery. He was a former Houston Borough councilman; former vice president of the First National Bank of Houston and was currently on the advisory board of the Houston office of Equibank. Surviving are his widow, Pauline Reed Templeton and two brothers, Howard K. of Houston and John M. of Canonsburg. - Observer Reorter, March 4, 1976.
