RODGERS // Roy Mitchell RODGERS, 79 of Fairview Drive, died Sunday at a local nursing home. // Mr. RODGERS was born here on Dec. 18, 1888, a son of the late Seranus and Estella LAND RODGERS. He was a life-long resident of Columbus and was a retired meat cutter. // Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Frances UUNEZ, Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Estella JOHNSON, East Point, and Mrs. Dorothy TATE, Columbus; six sons, Robert M. RODGERS, Savannah, Clifton E. RODGERS, Vancouver, Wash., Henry C. RODGERS, Fortson, and Roy C., James E. and WIllie Lee RODGERS, all of Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. Susie ANTHONY, Mrs. Haddie GRANT and Mrs. Ruth PEARCE, all of Columbus, and a brother, B. K. RODGERS, Ideal; 20 grandchildren, eight great-granchildren and several nieces and nephews....Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 P. M. from Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Rev. Carl PEACOCK officiating. Interment will be in Double Churches Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: John FARLEY, Jack B. JORDAN, Ronny L. FLOWERS, A. L. WORTHINGTON, J. A.
