-On Sat. morning the 6th inst., at the home of Henry Romich, in Elizabeth Twp., Lancaster Co., Wm. Spera, aged 77 yrs. 10 mos. 11d, soldier of the Rev. War. At the age of 16 he equipped himself, shouldered his musket, left father and mother, and joined Gen. Washington's army. He was buried at the Lutheran church near Hinkletown.
Full name was George William Spera.
